I'm listening to George baker, a Dutch fellow you might of heard before in an American movie.
Wow, Reservoir Dogs, 1992.
I like a variety of music, but I don't usually listen while I'm on the Internet. But if I were to pick something to listen to right now, it might be...
Or I might be feeling a bit nostalgic...
I too like any music done well. Most of the music I listen to is on XM satellite radio. My favorites are the Blues Channel with BB and the gang and the Coffee House that plays a really nice variety of music including folks like Nora Jones and Jack Johnson.
But I still like good old rock & roll too.
I am much more boring...I like smooth jazz. One DJ once called it "snooze jazz"
Pandora....70's lite when working in a customers house,70 and 80's rock otherwise
The king of surf Dick Dale
The Dick Dale music was interesting, I've never heard of him before. I also enjoy Jazz quite a bit and will listen to Frank Sinatra while vacuuming.
Sorry Canuck, post edited. You agreed to these rules when you joined.

At least you weren't banned....Whew.
I think you can get banned just for saying that. Hold on while I look it up...
You misunderstood...I said,"At T's you burnt hand goo." Completely innocent saying. We say it all the time up here in the north country.
Back to topic...I listen to Eminem, Merle Haggard, Skidrow, 3DoorsDown, Metallica, Buck Owens, Rodney Atkins, Johnny Cash, etc. They are all on my Ipod and I listen to them at work every day. The same 142 songs over and over. I love it! I hate new songs!
one of my favorites
My iPhone has about 3000 songs on it. Everything from Jim Croce to Metallica. Been listening to a lot of singer songwriter stuff lately. The last couple weeks though I've pretty much been listening to Mumford and Sons, Sigh No More album on endless repeat. It's folky blugrassy music with attitude. Acoustic guitar, upright bass banjo and piano. The singer sings, plays guitar, and plays a bass drum and tambourine with his feet. I can barely strum and sing at the same time. It's kinda got me inspired to write something in that vein.
I couldn't find the radio friendly version of this so there are a couple f-bombs if that sort of thing offends you.
I did have a " Rage Against The Machine" video posted as what I was listening to but apparently it had political overtones to it and got edited. To be quite honest I really don't listen to the lyrics in most songs or try to decifer their "meaning" I look at the singers voice as more of another "instrument". I like the energy of their music but it's not something I would listen to on the jobsite, usually it's the local classic rock station.
Hers one that should pass the censors.........I hope
Mine too. I've met the guy twice. The first time was in a little bar in the San Francisco bay area in 69. His hot Licks were very hot! Ran into him playing at the Mt. Shasta Ski Lodge in N. Calif. a few years back also. There's one mellow guy, and a great musician.
This one is brilliant too...

Neil Young was great then and still is. Unfortunately, his music company won't allow embedding videos, so both yours just give an error message and a link to view and hear them on YouTube.
