left is Sorona/middle is Stainmaster/right side is a regular PET Polyester

Stainmaster is the only type 6.6 nylon
    Anso is a type 6
Light reflects differently off a 6.6 in helping hiding soiling

Ortiz that's a nice little set up. What manufacture set you up with that?

    Mohawk ;) j/k
Honestly though, it is a Stainmaster board, but the testing was performed by an independent Lab.
I kept buggin the regional stainmaster rep for one to get it, he only had two. I don't know why they wouldn't send it to every store.

I gotta say though, I do like Triexta and Soronas softness and colors

I went to the local carpet store and asked for stainmaster sample. The lady ( who is not too sharp) finally found stainmaster written on the sample of bliss. Not sure that I got the right thing. It is labelled 100% luxerell BCF. I was hoping to test nylon 6,6. Is this the same?

Looks like it has failed my bleach test as well.

Darn, I was hoping this third horse would be a win win.

Yeah, not gonna pass the bleach test. What can you do? (shrugs)
It's really your call. Aren't you building a house from scratch? Couldn't you keep the laundry room and all its bleach away from the carpet?

Well, I am gonna take this way off topic. The criteria that cheerpeeps has laid out so far includes Bleach resistant, wear resistant, color selection and price conscious, and a bulletproof warranty.

I think we can put him into something that will meet all of that and more!!

Polished, stained concrete. It meets all of the above criteria!! What's not to love!!:D

Tandy will be along shortly to expound further!!

You say that you haven't broke ground on your house yet. You are sure on top of things already picking out your flooring.

I thought that everyone just waited until 3 weeks before they were moving in to do that.

The bliss line is from Beaulieu of America and I will need to go look but I do not believe there is and StainMaster in that line.
I will check but most of it is not even nylon.

PS: As was asked, are us trying to stain the sample from the store?
If you are it would be nice if you offered to pay for it, the store would have to pay to replace it.
Also most of the time the mills run a run that is just for color and feel and it does not go through the stain portion of the manufactoring so you will be getting a false results.

I probably should be more appreciative but I've never been to a site where there are private posts with phone numbers attached. Maybe that's standard here but I'm not comfortable with that. I won't be opening any more private posts. thx

I took a few inches of product that they gave away. I did not bleach the big store samples. Would you really think I would do THAT? Come on. I did pick a cow avitar but I really do not look like that :)

I really didn't know I was looking for the impossible. Concrete. whatever. Maybe if I was a cow.

thx to everybody, it's been informative-

Cheerpeople, if you receive a Personal Message that you feel is inappropriate, please click the icon in the upper-right corner of the PM to report the message to me. But let me explain that a trusted member did post a message to this topic with his phone number in it. I removed that message because it was reported to me as advertising. I know the member didn't intend it as such, but we are very strict about the no-advertising rule, even if it is just the perception of soliciting business. He did explain that was not his intention. He only wanted to provide you with additional information that he felt uncomfortable about giving in an open forum.

I apologize for any discomfort or misunderstanding.

As TFP said, do not be scared away. We are only trying to help, if someone is trying to help by leaving a phone #, it doesn't mean you have to call him/her, I think they're just trying to help even more.
If they're asking ?'s like "where do you live" or "i live in your area and can get you pricing" than that is soliciting as TFP said.
No worries, and sorry if someone made you uncomfortable as I am sure it wasn't intended

We are also a Stain Master gallery and have that under a different name, not under the Bliss that is why I said I would need to check. Thanks for letting me know, will save me some time today.

Cheer, glad you are sticking around and the kerfluffle is resolved! You should know also that you can send a PM if someone makes a comment you would like elaborated. Most, if not all here, would be more than happy to elaborate on something you don't want in the public arena.

In reference to your comment and cow avatar, I'm not so smart, I just regurgitate well ;)

I am curious though: are there any residential solution dyed nylons out there?
I'm 15 years removed from selling products and when I was it was 99 94/100% commercial.

I was also going to point out chlorine bleach and acne medication bleach by different means. Chlorine is oxygenated and Benzyl peroxide is not. Chlorine will also degrade fiber due to the acid content.

can you think of what would do it later- like the spot shows up later?
I tried mr Clean floor cleaner, and Miracle grow fertilizer that I use on houseplants and neither did anything to the carpet samples or my existing bleached carpet. That could not have been it.
