I heard about it a few days before and there was no way I could make it. Put the info out on here ahead of time:yesss: I'll try to make it up there this summer if at all possible. Things have been better down here for us because we're used to not having any work;)

I hope no one objects to this topic being moved to the training forum. If I'm wrong, it can be moved back to the business forum.

first of all, mike , do you do konecto trainings in georgia?, i learned most from my father, who never took short cuts and would slap me silly if he ever caught me taking one, , i have been to wilsonart training, mullican training and probably 5 or 6 koolglidetrainings, one was taught by len perkins,..but, i meet a guy through CFI, FRED CHASTAIN, a CFI MASTER II, and is probably around 65 and the guy is a wealth of knowledge, also pj arthur of NFIC,..HE TAUGHT ME ALOT ABOUT WOVENS, and jerry miller, who irritates me, but learned alot from him(cfi masterII)also numerous and countless talks for hours on the phone with roland(a great asset tothe flooring industry) and also chuck coffer, again countless hours of talking and also working side by side with chuck was great..always learn something from all these guys...chapter meetings are awesome food, tool give aways, great training free...also shaw commercial cert was free and awesome, going to take my brother if i ever find out when they are gonna have one...

    What a coincidence?

Local 1247 is having it's "Journeyman Upgrade" clinic this month. I couldn't make the one last year and my buddy really gave me a hard time about not making the effort to show up. So he shamed me into making sure I take advantage of all the free education the union offers.

From the letter I got it looks like most or all of the information is being presented by Ardex and sponsored by our local supply store; Big D.

    Moisture Control Training
    New products
    Decorative Floors and Polished Concrete
    Substrate Preparation

This time I'll be there. FREE LUNCH

Who ever said that in America there was no free lunch?

I am always hopeful that any of our pro members will add the training events they hear about to our training calendar: A Calendar of Training & Events in the Floorcovering Industry Check to see if the event is on our calendar and, if not, see the Add Event box in the lower right, below the calendar and add the event. It's pretty much like posting a message. If you have trouble, just let me know and I can fix it for you. Any flooring related training or special event is welcome, no matter what part of the country or world it is being held in.
