i was thinking that I would go to the other convention on that day but it would work if I got done at the WOC convention and came back if it was late afternoon as I would maybe hit a ballroom party or 2. I think they are on that night. I realized today that I am going to miss some of the Superbowl flying down there. Oh well, my team is out anyway. Barry, I have your number, hope to see you.

My vote is for Wed. late afternoon, like just before dinner. We could all meet at a set spot. Maybe the Kool Glide booth???? Or if Leo (turbo tools) has a booth, maybe there?????

I still need to figure out how to get in Wed. My tickets are only for Mon and Tues. I was wanting to go to the woven class.

Rob I'm wondering on the tickets are only for Mon, Tuesday? Usually you have a pass for the whole Surfaces. I've not heard of just a pass for 2 days. You got a badge for Surfaces didn't you? The badge gets you in every day.
My thoughts on where to meet was the CFI booth or near it as we are at the front door to the hall. Upstairs that is. Easy to find. Time is whenever agreed upon.
For those that this is their first time make sure you wear comfortable shoes. This thing is a killer on the feet.
Jon Nick says to bring my laptop that you could take care of it. I don't know what that means.
Also food is very expensive there as are the drinks.

Just tell me the time and place. I am going to the woven 1 hour course as well. I think it is at 1 pm. I have no definite plans for Wed PM.
Maybe have coffee with some freinds who live there (French). But nothing definite. Maybe have a drink with some TFP friends???

    Daris,

The way I purchased the tickets was under the multi day pass. You get two days and two seminars. Unless I am reading it wrong.

I would agree with you Daris. Easy to find and by the way in or out whereas the other places are probually in the middle of the show.
Maybe Nick wants me to break your laptop Daris. Me good at breaking them. :yesss::yesss:

The CFI booth is at the main floor front entry,Len's booth is in the back a little to the right of the main entry ( that is if it is in the same area ) so let's make it 4:30pm Wed at the CFI booth and then you all can take me out for coffee. Robert if you have a badge you can go into the show all the days just 2 days for semianars. The cost for the show is only 10 bucks it is the semianars that cost the most.

    Roland,

I am going to have to take your word for it. I have read the paper work two or three times and still read it the same way.

Robert, the CFI booth is in the entry before you go thru the doors into the main floor so anyone can come up that far they do not check your badge until you go thru the doors. Also they just look to see if you have one on I have never seen them walk up and look at the date. They do check it out if you are going into a seminar.

I see I have two cups of coffee.

Kind of curious here. Why are we meeting so late at the CFI booth. The show will close in a 1/2 hour.
I'll be leaving for Vegas on Friday. Get there around 1 pm.

I think it was just a matter of the first one to suggest a time. And we all said okay. I know I have never been so I'm just riding along with the rest of you here.

That was the idea. If we want to go some where and talk we will not miss any of the show. Also I can get my coffee.

As work has been so slow, looks like I'll be headed to Vegas for my first Surfaces. I ain't flying, gonna jump in the cowboy caddy, 2008 Dodge Dually 1 ton 4wd, and motor south. I could take the wife's car, but I want to be able to run over traffic, not get run over.
Looks like a lot of the exhibits I want to see are in Hall G? Turbo tools Forbo. Be nice to see the CFI booth, and the Kool Glide Booth too. Sounds like I may have to trade in my boots, for a better pair of walking shoes. Yeow. That'll bring me down to like 5'-8":yesss:

Hope to see some of you thereTandy, are you going? we can swap new fish stories

No, there is not much there for inspectors (especially retired) and the mfgs. don't really like inspectors talking about looking at their products. Have fun.:yesss:
