We should deside on a time and place to meet. This would probably be easier than trying to call everyone and coordinate spontaneously.
I will be in town Tues. PM, all day Wed., and leaving early Thurs. AM.

    My number is 208-703-0145

Barry for me it would have to be the Wednesday 4th pm. As I am arriving late, I rang the Captain of Coral Princess and asked him if he could get into Fort Lauderdale ealier so we could get to Vegas earlier so I could meet Barry and he said so????? :ohno:
In the past we have meet people at a stand, Chris's NEC stand, To meet people you really have to narrow it done to a small spot and where the people are wearing their badges. DO NOT forget most people don't know what Barry or I look like so going into a bar full of people asking everybody what their name is is not an option. :ohno:
Maybe meet with Daris at his stand at the end of the day? In that way people can look at the show. If people found Daris he could direct all of us in a corner. Daris you have been lots of time what do you reckon? :help::help:

I have just had another thought about this. The only trouble with this is that people might have lots of samples, paper work which they would have to carry with them if we moved to somewhere else when we get kicked out of Surfaces
Another thought is that maybe there could be a standard meeting time, at say Daris's, each am or pm of each show day so that people arriving at different times could meet. Would this be difficult for Daris as I can't remember how much space is there?
    Any better ideas?

I was talking about the train that takes you from one end of the strip to the other with several drop off points.

I think we are talking different things. We found that the shuttle bus left every quarter hour or so to Surfaces from different casinos. If you were staying at one casino you could hop over the road and get a free one to Surfaces. What we did leaving Surfaces and wanting to go to another casino at the other end of the Strip we would just hop onto one that was going that way. I seem to remember them leaving from the basement on the walkway to the Venetian

Its a monorail. I finally remembered the name of it. I was thinking of riding it generally, not to Surfaces as it is a short walk from where I am staying.

We stayed at Imperial Palace one year and walked as well. What I was thinking was others like Barry staying further away from the show, the Shuttle buses could be good for them. One year some people from New Zealand were staying at Excalibar while we were at the Luxor. They just walked over the road and caught the Shuttle from the Luxor and were dropped back there after the show. We used the monorail a couple of times but found the busses easier

Things are a little slow in Vegas, We were able to book rooms at the Venetian today for $99 for those that don't know it is conected to the Sands where the show is.

All I know is our marketing director just called me to get my credit info. A king for 4 nites at $99 or a double queen for $128. We did book four rooms. I can't emagine that would be considered a group rate.

I don't want to come across as if I am trying to sell our system here, but I would like to let the ones that are going to Surfaces know that if you come by our booth and register we will be giving away a Kool Glide, and if you don't mind introduce you self, I really would like to meet you guys.

For the record, I suggested Len mention here that they were having a drawing for a KoolGlide for those who register at their booth at Surfaces. You all know how I have a habit of linchin' them advertisin' varmints. Len ain't one a them. This time. ;)

No, that is not the case at all, Robert. Len happened to email me earlier today about the contest he is sponsoring here later this month. He mentioned that he was also giving away one of his KoolGlide systems at Surfaces. I asked him if he would tell all of you here in this thread. That particular give-away is not part of TFP and anyone who visits his booth at Surfaces and registers is eligible for that give-away. It doesn't matter if they are a member of TFP at all. TFP doesn't have anything to do with that offer. He only mentioned it here because he is a member here.

    Okay everyone,
Jon had a good suggestion about setting a time and place for us to meet. It will save everyone trying to make several phone calls to coordinate meeting each other. Can we decide on a time and place? I know Len Perkins is tied to his booth. Would that be a good place? If so, at what time?

I would really really like to meet all who are going to be there, Jon, Roland, Rob, Len, and I know I am missing others (sorry).

Can we do this??? Maybe Wed. p.m.? everyone should be there by then.
