Double rainbow in Portland
We don't get nice sunrises and sunsets this time of year in Michigan
Here's some sunsets and sunrises from Feather River Country.
We are lucky if the sun even shows its face. If you are a person that require sunshine everyday then this isn't the place for you.
Thank you Jim...that is some SERIOUS talent you have there! Those are beautiful! It made my day!
Those are some awesome shots Jim. What camera and lenses you use? Thanks
Thanks. I have a Nikon D810 and a trio of zoom lenses from Tamron - the UNholy trinity, so to speak (each one a counterpart to the Nikon "Holy Trinity"). My photo website is here: Jim McClain, Photographer
I saw that sunset when we came back from the Daytona airport on Wednesday around 5:30, just beautiful.
Sunset on the Oregon coast

Here is a sunrise I a took a couple of years ago from a cruise ship
Guess where the first one is and any ideas where the other photos are?
Very hard for me to get sunrise photos as I am asleep normally
Here's a few more sunrises/sunsets from my neck of the woods.

I've seen a million sunsets over the ocean. This is my first sunrise.
Wow! Really nice black & white work there.
Just crossed from WV into Pennsylvania when I got a sunset treat after looking at little mountain towns for the past couple hours.
