Robin Williams passed away today of an apparent suicide. He entertained me for a lot of years.
Mork from Ork.
He was real funny.......back in the day. Didn't really appreciate much of his later work. But I had no idea about his drug, alcohol and depression issues.
It's really sad news.
Very sad Depression is a very dark and bad place so sad to see this for him.
A real bummer. As a kid that grew up in the 90's, many of my favorite movies starred him. Hook, Mrs. Doubtfire etc.
He was a great guy, and we have lots of very sad friends today. My wife worked with him many times, doing improv and stand-up together. Depression and addiction know no boundaries - they don't recognize fame, success or wealth. Such a waste. A permanent solution to a temporary problem.
I enjoyed watching this.
