Any solutions for restoring an old vct floor with stains?
We've done a strip and wax but didn't seem to touch the stains.

Any idea what the stains are? I'm sure whoever answers up will want to know.
I got a grape stain out of formica once using a paste of baking soda and water. Rub it on and let it dry. It wicked it out. Don't know if that would work or not.

Yes, some pictures and additional info will be helpful.

Your process of being done and then ask questions is like painting a car and the dents are still there.

Vct is neglected constantly and yes, I do see commercial businesses waxing over dirt stained vct.

Is this a home/business, what are your expectations, how many sq. ft.? Have you gotten estimates/evaluations from a vct maintenance company?

What condition is the vct in? Is it flat, no cracked pieces, indentations, etc.

Are the stains similar to this photo which have been caused by rubber feet from a washing machine?
Rubber products left on a vinyl cause a chemical reaction between the two?
