FARMINGDALE, New York – January 22, 2007 – The National Institute of Certified Floorcovering Inspectors (NICFI) announced the launch of a National Hotline to answer both residential and commercial questions regarding flooring problems and failures.

The National Hotline, A FREE SERVICE, can be contacted three ways - by telephone, email or going to their web site. The telephone numbers are set up nationwide for your convenience. The phone numbers are:
    East Coast 516-558-3277

    West Coast 213-992-2269

    Central 312-281-2628

You can go to the web site NICFI.org or send an email to info@nicfi.org at anytime with your questions.

The National Hotline was established to help both the homeowner and the professional find information on floor covering problems and to recommend a certified unbiased third party in their area that can help determine the cause of the flooring problem and point them in the right direction for resolution.

All NICFI members are experienced in the inspection and failure analysis of all types of floors from the sub floor/substrate below, to the flooring material and all the elements in between (cushion, adhesive, underlayments). Our members have certifications to inspect all types of floors to include: carpet, vinyl tile, cork, ceramic, hardwood, laminate, engineered wood, sheet vinyl and specialty floors.

If you have a flooring problem call us, send us an email or visit our web site www.NICFI.org
