Santa was real good to me this year.
Can’t wait to try out my cordless dual bevel compound sliding miter saw.

My son got me this, my 2013 Ford E250 is pretty tall, it will make exit and entry safe and easier. d360tWEB.jpg

I used it 1/2 of the day cutting 3/4” solid red oak 3 1/4” wide. The battery was still reading fully charged at 5:00.

This saw has a l.e.d. light that shines on the blade, which cast a shadow exactly on the cut line.

The saw cuts 5 3/4” vertical and 2”x12” horizontal.

How would you know it falls exactly on the line??
    LOOK AT THAT LINE!!! :)

P.S. Mostly kidding, and that is a pretty sweet saw.

That was a starter piece , I was cutting for a better stagger.
The wavy line was for dramatic effect.o_O
So you could see how nice the shadow line is.
It started to get a little dim in the room ( 4:00 or so) and the light is really nice..

Just the battery melts the plastic? Not a propane cylinder

I bought a propane glue gun from Chapco, years ago .
    It was a piece-o
Let us know how the battery operated gun works
That would be nice for sealing carpet seams.

Does it look like you could screw a Peak Buster tip onto it?
Looks like you could set it on the battery ,and it would not tip over very easily
It looks like the tip is far enough away from the battery so it doesn’t drip onto the battery .

Tried it on one seam tonight. Yes, tip comes off and peak puster fits. I bet it only took 2 minutes to heat the stick up to flow and did fine on the 3 feet that I did. I'm doing a 20' seam tomorrow so that will tell a lot. Its 18 volt system, found it at HD for $30.
I used to have the butane guns a few years ago, they don't last long as the igniter goes out.

The gun worked excellent today on the 20' seam. Fast heat up and consistant flow, kept up with speed. Best tool I've bought in awhile.

Not impressed, in fact I would get mad. Any type of concrete grinding needs the proper vac for efficiency. Regrettably I’m going to miss world of Concrete in a few weeks, they will have vacs, but that vac would be used around my house.
