Yep, I guess it was his time. My father passed away this morning.
He is the one that taught me everything I know about carpentry, flooring, and being a OCD detail guy...LOL
I am lucky to have had him as a father and show me the ways of a true craftsman. I am the father of two boys, so I know what it means to pass down your knowledge. Me and my oldest (9 gonna be 10 this month) went to HD and bought a bunch of wood today. We are going to build a deck tomorrow....
I am just glad he went in his sleep, with no pain and no knowledge of what was happening.
He was a flooring installer and finish carpenter for over 50 years. He left us at the age of 93. So he had a good run.
    Rest In Peace Dad....
    Love,
    Steve

    Thanks guys....
He lived a very full life with more experiences than I can imagine.
He lived long and left peacefully.....More than anyone could want.
Thank you all for the kind words....

    My condolences Steve,

I bet, he said, he was equally as lucky and proud to have a son like you, who continues working the skills learned, with up-most professionalism.

    Rest in peace good man

    Mike

Steve, you and your family will be in my prayer's. Lost my father 7 years ago and I still stop and think, what would my dad do.
