In the picture he shared with his colored cuts overlaid on his diagram. It was confirmed by his reply...

Hi Daris, Jim's off line right now so I'll field that question. Go to post # 7 (I think) the one with the diagrams, it shows the 3' width repeat and 18.50'' length rpt. overlayed onto the floor-plan.

I personally would like to avoid cross seams with that style of carpet.
So ( His or Her ? ) plan is actually not BAD !

I'll brake out my 1995 computer w/ old floor-plan software or maybe try the version they used and do some calculations. It would be nice to just make one length seam in rm. #1.....any time you double them up, with no furniture break between the two seams can be visually problematic.

What a crazy layout, I like the plan they came up with :) but wish we knew more info like furniture placement and where all the openings go
to and most importantly !! to confirm doorways and archways. I'm pretty sure about the 3 windows on the far right @ rm 1 + 3

    27'9'', 23' 1.50'', 15'5'', I would add 1' for the pole line damage
    equaling 12 x 67'3.50'' (739.75 sq' / 82 yds )

If it was me, I would pre-cut the main sheet and snake roll delivery and
spread all the way through the archway with NO Seams @ all three
openings to rooms 2,4,and 5.........send lots of corner guards.

Jim, to me, your math is funny, but something tells me you have an understanding of repeats way above my pay grade. My brother
is like that. Just for fun, I'll try to lay your cuts out onto the plan I drew up and see how it plays out. Always more than one way to skin
    that poor cat. :p

    Up-date, un-able to lay-out Jimbo's cuts until confirming doorways and such.......Peace !

I'm still wondering if the poster knows what can happen if the carpet is laid parallel to the light source or even is there a window where I'm thinking there is one. I helped a friend who had the problem with a window when the carpet was parallel to it just last week. Koolglide came to the rescue then.
