floor type and finish

    What kind of floor is this? I'm wanting to strip the gloss off, sealing and gloss it again. What kind of stripping, sealer and gloss should I use for this floor?

    Can you contact the company that installed it and ask there recommend way.

    Could be anything from a terrazzo floor to a stained concrete these days. Maybe an overlay. Contact Hampton inn and they could tell you who did it.

    Looks like polished concrete to me. Careful what you do, you may destroy finish and then be sued for repair. Good of you to seak answers.

    This is one reason there should be some type of info embedded into the flooring, hell even a microchip set into slab that connects to smartphone app about all info on application, product, maintenance,etc.

    Looks like an Acid stain due to the marbling effect and how the acid reacts with the Portland.
