My home is open concept square home. 3/4" red oak in 2 room diagonal from one another. The kitchen and foyer are also diagonal and adjoin the wood floors.

I would like to replace my foyer ceramic cracked tile with a LVT. Is there a floating floor option (no cement fiber board under ceramic - just subfloor).

Plus, I also want to replace my 1992 installed vinyl roll (with 2 seams). No grout products so I am looking at the LVT that look like stone or possibly a cork product. Any ideas? and should I move my heavy appliances and an island to replace floor.

Thanks for your help. 1 cat, No dogs, 3 teenagers.

Wow, nearly 3 months and no reply. I'm sorry I didn't notice this sooner. I hope that you were able to find the answers you needed somewhere.
