I think the heat and humidity make your blood thin...As far as thermal underwear goes. I threw mine away when I moved down south and swore I'd never be cold enough to have to wear it again. So far so good:cool:

Starting June 13th, we have had 66 days of over 100º

    Today it was 104º

Had 5 days of record highs in June, 8days in July, and now 6 days in August

My grass and water bill is taking a hit.

In August, we jump from 70 one day to 95+ the next. I'm not one to listen to the weather, so inevitably pick the wrong clothing on many days. We do have serious humdity when it's hotter.

Perfect here today -low 70's. Tomorrow night I believe it is going down around 45 and be raining tomorrow. But stop and think about after the labor day weekend it usually starts the decend into fall and then winter.

He was just sayin' that because it's 71 degrees and 40% humidity. :D

I'm 53 degrees and 89% humidity................ 53 is supposedly our low tonight cause we are supposed to get cloud cover and some sprinkles.

Starting today, 5 days in a row, highs in the 70's, lows in the 50's. Normal would be high in the 90's, low in the 70's. If this is global warming, bring it on.

Here the forcast for the next 5 days is high's in the low to mid 60's and lowss in the 40's with 2 of those days 37 degrees. Does that mean I ought to cover my maters?

I would cover your matters, just in case your in a low area that gets colder than the metropolitan forecast, of the local news.

I live in a low area near a creek, and it is 3-5º cooler here than the forecast.

Ewww on rivers in the basement. I'm glad we live on high ground now. Once we got the gutters replaced, totally dry basement!

What a difference a month makes. We have frost on the pumpkin. The yards and roofs were white when I got up.
Leaves are falling like crazy, I have already raked one area of my yard and I don't have any trees.
I think we are in for a very cold winter, as the summer was not hot at all. Maybe a lot of snow also as it is dryer than a popcorn f-rt now so maybe the moisture will come in the winter. Been only in the mid 50's all week for a high.
Time to get out the mucklucks and mittens and get them ready.

Overnight temp here was 38F. No frost, but leaves falling before they can change colour. We are so not ready for this ...

We had frost last night too. Brought in the rest of the garden vegetables and houseplants yesterday. Got out the long sleeves and jackets today. I hate winter, except for wearing boots ... I have some very nice boots. :D
