Except for the electric bill. I can cut firewood to stay warm.
Yah I know, but you are surrounded by firewood, and more firewood. Beside cutting that stuff is just like w-o-r-k. Excuse the language.
TANDY did you just use a four letter word !?!?!?
Rusty, I'd literally die in that kind of climate.
To me, summer time when the sun is shinin', temps in the low 60's are OK, 65 is fine, 70 is great, 75 is beginning to pass my comfort level and I can't stand 80 or above.
...livin on the Oregon coast your entire life does that to ya.
............. 68 degrees, zero wind and a light overcast sky would be ideal.
Lo, we average about 6 weeks a year with temps in the mid 90's and heat index 105-110.f
110 with heat index here tomorrow . been in the 90s for quite awhile.
thats what it is susposed to be here today. Humidity is thick. Had rain last night.
Temp is 88 right now.
Heat index has been 105-110 for a couple weeks. Predicting, like this into Sept.
Ya hear that, Jon?
I liking Deb. I knew I could rely on you to organise good weather for us. This trip must be coming around soon?
Jon, is it a dry heat in New Zealand or humid like here?
Rusty its 59 F or 15 C here today. I live in the skinny part of the North Island which is only like 1.25 miles across. As we are surrounded by oceans our average relativity is 79% so we are pretty wet.
What Deb and I were talking about is that we are coming over to see her at Toronto on the 18th September so she is trying to order good weather for us
Here's a graph of the past weeks warehouse humidity and temperatures. It's an uninsulated steel frame warehouse.
Tells ya a bit about weather here. Graph gets little crazy late this afternoon, as the datalogger was inside my black pickup and had a cold Pepsi near it between sips.
A wind graph of our summers would range from 10 to 30 mph..... one of the downsides of living on the coast. Summer here is really between September 1st through 15th.......... it can even hit 75 on occasion.
They down graded the heat index from 110 to 105 for today. Now I gonna go outside and enjoy!
Deb I am also keeping an eye on The Colonnade Hotel at Boston where we are also staying for one night as they have the time of day and temperature in C and F on their main page
Last time i check yesterday it was 101 , heat index 106
If you don't believe me , ask the dog.
Today is the first day of the relief from the high heat and humidy. It is only susposed to be a high of 80 and the humidy level is low. Friday and Saturday the humidity was atrocious.
Nick is that your dog? Nice picture though.
No . Have a photo of them around here somewhere .
heee. hee. hee.
don't you know man? that's just me daring you to take me for a ride!
